Images that do not record the world, but construct it. Three active series approach — each from a different angle — the threshold between the real and the algorithmic, testing the limit of authorship through the Attention–Intention–Message triad.
Between Times
Memory and temporality in the image.
Works with what photography holds of time, and what is lost when time is no longer held. The images interrogate photography's capacity to preserve a presence that has been — and what happens to this capacity when the image can be generated without that presence having ever existed.
Erosion — a generative installation drawn from the series — sets this question in motion: each image grinds into grains that fall irreversibly, while the next image sediments out of the same matter. Not a transition but a passage; not document but process. Sound accompanies the two regimes — the order of a sustained drone while the image holds, the granular birth of the time-to-come within the zone of erosion.
The Uncreated Bridge
On what the algorithm cannot construct.
Investigates the symbolic residue that survives technological mediation — the persistent presence of the human within the post-human image. The series was exhibited at ROMCON XLVII, University of Craiova (April 2026), under the title „on what the algorithm cannot construct".
The Fragility of Conversation — a generative installation drawn from the series — sets the eighteen images in motion and submits them to a grave question: can we touch without losing ourselves? The passage from one image to the next never resolves cleanly, but through failure — chromatic glitch, datamosh, disintegration into fragments, bias drift, blocks lost like dropped packets. It is not the images but the passage between them that carries the meaning: each unraveling shows that the dialogue between skin and circuit never transmits whole. A dissonant sonic backdrop, its interference swelling at the moment of collapse, sustains an unease that never settles.
The Algorithm's Touch
On what remains of gesture when the hand no longer touches.
Tests the limit of authorship when the generative system becomes co-producer. The question the series raises: if touch is suspended — if the author no longer places a hand on the real — what remains of the artistic gesture? Who signs the image when two co-producers negotiate its form?
